R. w. Meek has a Masters Degree in Art History from the American University in Washington D.C.  and currently lives in Delray Beach, Florida.  “The Terrible Degas” is an excerpt from the yet-to-be published historical fiction novel The Dream Collector, taking place in the exciting art milieu of late 19th Century Paris.
